DEWSON DAY OF PINK EVENT:
There's a Dewson after school event for the Day of Pink on Thursday April 2nd at 6:00PM. Please RSVP as soon as possible at >https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/38NTKZN
OR on the flipchart in the school’s front entrance.
This year students, teachers, staff and parents can join together to celebrate the International Day of Pink at Dewson.
• 6:00pm: Doors Open - Free pizza & refreshments.
• 6:30-8:15pm: Kids’ Activities - button and banner making, videos AND Panel Discussion For Parents And Teachers: “Talking to kids about LGBT issues at school and at home”.
Child-minding for the little ones.

PAN FEST CLASS TRIP 2015:
On Tuesday, April 14th the Grade 6 students from Dewson will be performing at the annual Pan Fest at Bickford Centre! All of the junior classes will be walking over to watch and support our musicians. We will leave at 9:15AM and return by 12 noon for lunch. No permission forms required because it's a walking excursion. I will need 1-2 parent volunteers to come over with us. Please note, the Grade 6 students in the Steel Pan Band will walk over earlier with Mme. Hardy and the instructor. A letter from Mme. Hardy will follow shortly, she will likely need parent volunteers from the Gr 6 parents. I will need 1-2 parents of the Grade 5 students to walk over with the Grade 5s. Please email me or send back the form if you are available to come along.
EMILY'S PIANO THEATER TRIP:
On Tuesday, April 21st the junior division classes will be attending a trip to the Young People's Theatre to view a play called Emily's Piano! The trip forms are in the backpack tonight. Please fill out and return by April 10th. There is no cost for this trip as the Arts Committee and Parent Council have offered to pay for it. MERCI!
We will be leaving at 11:45am and returning by 3:15pm. I can take 2 parent volunteers for this trip as well, please email me if you can join us!
