Today the students had the chance to participate in some hands-on Matter-related science experiments. You can find all the experiments on the Exploratorium site

We also went outside to try the "Mentos in Diet Coke Experiment." The Mythbusters video below explains exactly what is going on when you put a Mentos candy in Diet Coke. I have also added some pictures of the students in action. It was really fun to see all of the students so engaged.
