Trip to Dufferin Grove June 16th

On Tuesday, June 16th we will be heading to Dufferin Grove Park for a fun day outside to celebrate the end of a great year! We will leave Dewson at 10:30am and return at 3:15pm. We will be walking over and from 11- 11:45 we will be making  personal sized pizzas in the stone oven at the park! The cost for this trip (pizza part is the only paying portion) is $5 per student. The pizzas aren't very filling for a full day at the park so I suggested the children still bring a packed lunch and for sure a water bottle. Make sure to dress for the weather and bring sunscreen if needed.
Please have your child bring the form (it went home Tuesday) and $5 by Monday June 15th at the very latest.
Parents (and pets) are welcome to join us at the park -no limit this time, so the more the merrier! We didn't factor in parents making pizzas, though. So please bring food for yourself if needed :) Sometimes parents bring snacks for the children to share, that's totally fine, but please keep in mind the no nut and no dairy rule still applies in the park.
Children can bring balls, frisbees, outdoor games, etc...but please no water guns or water toys. If the splash pad is open, students can go in as long as they have a towel, bathing suit or a change of clothes. ( In my experience students are very uncomfortable all day if they get their clothes soaked and have no dry clothes!)
I'm looking forward to this fun day at the park and I know the students always enjoy this trip! Please let me know if you have any questions.
