In our current Math unit, one of the measurements we are examining is volume. I came across these great videos which explain the Science and Math behind NHL Hockey. One of the videos we watched in class explained the volume of ice on an NHL rink and the video explained how they use math to create the perfect ice! There are many other videos on this site that the students might like to check out.
