Dear Parents & Guardians,
On Friday our class will be exchanging gifts in a
small gift exchange. This is completely optional, and your child does not have
to participate if he/she does not want to. The students will be making Guess
Who Cards to go with their gift to give to their secret friend. Students
are asked to bring a homemade gift or a gift totaling no more than $4. The gift
is to be something simple like candy or pencils/pens. NO CHOCOLATE, NUTS OR ANYTHING CONTAINING MILK CAN BE BROUGHT IN FOR
THE GIFT. The students will be drawing names on Friday and then handing out
the gifts. This means the gifts should be something generic that everyone in
the class would enjoy. In the past, when I have drawn names ahead of time, the
identity of the "gifter" was usually spoiled! There will also be a
small "party" on Friday afternoon in the class. Students can bring
snacks to share. All food
products that are brought in must NOT contain nuts. Please do not send in any
chocolate or anything containing milk. Students can also bring in electronics and board games for our party. I will lock up any
electronics before the party to make sure they do not go missing.
