Dear parents and students,
Each week, on Day 1, we will be spending one period working on French grammar. Each week, students will receive a package that will be between 3 and 6 pages long. The topics will be discussed in class and students will have some time to work on the package in class. Students have one week to complete the package as homework. All grammar packages must be handed in on the following Day 1. If students are having difficulty with the grammar packages, they can come and speak to me anytime during the week for extra assistance. The packages will be in French and the students may need access to a French-English dictionary or a Bescherelle (verb book) for this homework. You can order a Bescherelle from this month's Scholastic order. It is not mandatory to have a Bescherelle, but it may help the students with verb conjugation. (I still use the same Bescherelle that I bought in Elementary school!) If you have any questions or concerns about the weekly grammar package, please don't hesitate to contact me. This month's Scholastic order is due Friday Oct 3rd, 2014 if you are interested in ordering anything.
